Road freight from Baku
The workhorse of the region — door to door, with no transfers between modes and no port to wait for.
- Door-to-door
- Cross-border routes
- Shipment updates

For most destinations Azerbaijan actually trades with, a truck is the right answer. Georgia, Turkey, Iran and Russia are all reachable by road on a predictable schedule, and unlike sea or air the cargo is loaded at your door and unloaded at the recipient's without ever being transferred between modes. Every transfer is a chance for damage and a delay.
We do full loads, where the whole vehicle is yours and it goes straight to the destination, and part loads, where you pay for the space you use and share the truck. Part load is much cheaper and takes longer, because the vehicle is filled and follows a route rather than a straight line.
Within Azerbaijan — Baku, Sumqayit, Ganja, the regions — road freight is not a compromise but simply how goods move, and we run it as regular scheduled work rather than as one-off charters.

How it works
The vehicle for the cargo
Tented, box, refrigerated, low-loader for oversize. Picked by what is being carried, not by what happens to be free — the wrong vehicle costs more in damage than it saves in freight.
Loading and securing
The load is secured for the road: straps, corner protection, weight distributed across the axles. Most road-freight damage is a securing failure, not an accident.
Documents and border
CMR, invoices, packing list, customs declaration. For international routes we prepare the set in advance — a truck standing at the border over a missing paper costs a day and the driver's time.
Delivery and tracking
Status is available online throughout, and unloading at the recipient's address is arranged as part of the job.
What affects the price
Full load or part load
The single biggest factor. A full load is priced for the vehicle and the route; a part load for the space and weight you take. Part load is significantly cheaper and correspondingly slower.
Distance and route
Not just kilometres: border crossings, permits and transit countries all count. Baku to Tbilisi and Baku to Ankara are different jobs at similar distances.
Weight and dimensions
Cargo over standard height or width needs permits and sometimes an escort. Worth knowing before planning, not after loading.
Loading and unloading conditions
A loading dock and a courtyard with no access are different amounts of work. Manual loading, an awkward approach or a strict time window all add to the job.
Questions about this service
How long does road freight from Baku to Turkey take?
Typically five to eight days door to door, depending on the destination city, the route and the queue at the border. Georgia is two to four. We give the realistic figure including border time, not the driving time.
What is the difference between a full and a part load?
A full load means the vehicle is yours and goes straight there. A part load means you pay for your share of it, and the truck is filled and routed accordingly — cheaper, slower, and entirely normal for small consignments.
Can you move a household by road?
Yes, and for Georgia, Turkey, Russia and Iran it is usually the sensible choice: cheaper than air, faster than sea, and the belongings are loaded at your door and unloaded at the new one without transfers.
Who is responsible for customs on an international route?
We prepare the documents and accompany clearance on the Azerbaijani side. At the destination we work either with our partner agent or with your own broker, as you prefer.
