How much does a move cost and what affects the price?
The price depends on the volume of belongings, the floor, whether there is a lift, and the distance. After a free assessment we give you a written estimate for the agreed conditions; changes to the scope, route or timing can change the final cost and are discussed in advance.
Is the assessment paid?
No. An assessor visits free of charge, measures the volume and quotes an exact price. You can also send a video of your home on WhatsApp and we will quote remotely.
What happens if something is damaged?
Every move is covered by a contract: liability for your belongings is written into it, and if damage is our fault we compensate for it. Over the years such cases have been rare — we pack so the question never comes up.
Is the cargo insured?
Insurance is optional, arranged separately and not included in the moving estimate. Tell the manager before signing and we will arrange the policy and write it into the contract as a separate line. Without a policy, liability for your belongings is governed by the contract itself.
Can I see where my belongings are during the move?
Yes. Enter the tracking number from your contract at buddy-mover.com/tracking to see the latest status recorded by our team, logged checkpoints, expected arrival date and available shipment details. Our team updates the record as the shipment progresses; this is not live GPS tracking.
How far ahead should I book a date?
Two to three days is usually enough. Demand is higher at the end of the month and at weekends — better to write a week ahead. An urgent move for tomorrow is possible too, just call to check.
Do you bring boxes and materials, or do we?
We do. We bring boxes, kraft paper, wrap, tape and markers — all included in the packing service. If you pack yourself, we can simply deliver the materials.
Can I order only some of the services?
Yes. Movers only, packing only, transport only or storage only — any combination. The full end-to-end package is better value, but the choice is always yours.
